Neemuch (Successful World): Acting upon reliable intelligence, Neemuch Police successfully apprehended a suspect involved in Doda theft, based on information provided by a trusted informant. The accused, identified as Vikram Singh, son of Prem Singh Borana and a resident of Kachariya, was intercepted while heading towards Sagrana with approximately 280 kilograms of illegal narcotics concealed inside the tractor-trailer covered with black triphala tukkar. Promptly conducting a checkpoint, the police intercepted a tractor approaching the Jawad Phanta area, driven by Vikram Singh, who confirmed his identity upon inquiry. A thorough search of the tractor-trailer resulted in the discovery of 2 quintals and 80 kilograms of illicit narcotics concealed in a black plastic cutter. The seized contraband was confiscated, and the accused was apprehended under sections 8/15 of the NDPS Act, with the case registered as AP Crime No. 351/23. The accused is currently under police custody, and further investigation is underway.
